Gill Scott – Teacher, Amatsu UK Ltd and ATA Executive committee Secretary:

gillGill is a shining example of the benefits of Amatsu correction and maintenance; she started her journey back in Amatsu in 1998, as a client of Dennis Bartram’s. After having had three separate car accidents and permanently wearing a cervical collar for five years, she booked her first Amatsu therapy balance with Dennis.

Dennis explained to Gill how the human body is connected, and how her injuries had impacted her body. She was very impressed by the dramatic improvements that she felt by her third treatment and shortly after began her apprenticeship with Dennis. She has been a qualified Amatsu Therapy practitioner since 2004 and a teacher since 2008.

This includes becoming the secretary of Amatsu UK Ltd where she has worked alongside Dennis creating the workbooks for the courses, for the last thirteen years. She has attended and assisted Dennis on his courses since 2001. Her passion for researching and compiling the workbooks reflects in the clarity and understanding she has of the fundamentals.

Gill’s background also includes qualifying as a Reflexologist and a Cranio Sacral Therapist in 2003 and a practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming in 2009. She has also been studying Budo Taijutsu since 1999 and has visited Dr Hatsumi in Japan five times for tutoring.

Her approach to teaching reflects the experience of her journey from client, to practitioner, to teacher, utilising the skills of self-maintenance and movement. Which includes natural movement principles and boulder scrambling, she has a unique gift for rapport and compassion with the students; she identifies and reinforces student’s unique learning styles.
