Hannah Boot
Biographical Info My interest in complementary therapies came from my mother; her arthritis meant she needed different forms of pain and stress relief other than medications that wouldn't always work for her. She has tried various complementary therapies which I remember from my teens. I decided then that I wanted to be one of the people she turned to for help. I therefore applied for the BSc (Hons) Complementary Therapies at UWIC, Cardiff. The course included diplomas in Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. I have continued with my therapies since then, as well as working as a nurse assistant from 2009-2010 in the Bristol Royal Infirmary on a medical ward. In 2016 I started a 4 year course in Amatsu, I recently completed my third year so I am now a qualified Shinden Amatsu practitioner and will be completing my final year of the course in 2019. I offer Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Massage and Amatsu in Cardiff, and use my knowledge of anatomy and physiology from my degree, and my experiences of working with all types of physical and emotional ailments from my work in the hospital to provide a well-rounded treatment.
