Biographical Info I was first introduced to Amatsu over 15 years ago, by Dennis Bartram who developed this ancient Japanese ‘feeling’ therapy to suit western style medicine. Amatsu uses movement orientated techniques that engage with the body’s soft tissue to initiate movement at the injury site. Releasing painful spasms or restrictions around the injury, initiates the rebuilding of healthy neurological patters and proprioception (global body balance). Amatsu is very effective as we treat the underlying cause, not just the symptoms on chronic and acute injuries. Due to the gentle movements this therapy can be safely used on babies and the elderly. In Sept 2013 I was awarded the Sekkotsu Practitioner level by Dennis Batram, Chief Executive and Principal Trainer of the ATA, the highest level you can attain. In February 2014 I was granted membership to the Democrathic Orthopatchic Council as an Orthopath. Clinic Hours: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri plus 1 Sat morning per month Additional Therapies include: Hold a Practitioner Licence in Neuro Linguistic Programming. Members of: CThA – Complementary Therapy Association ATA – Amatsu Therapy Association Annual CPD Requirements: Minimum of 4 days Amatsu CPD per year
